???stanbul ?ehir University (?EH?R) is one of the most prestigious and leading non-profit foundation universities in Turkey. Motivated by the joy of producing and sharing knowledge at a global scale, ?EH?R was officially founded by the deep-rooted Foundation for Sciences and Arts (B?SAV) in 2008 in ?stanbul.
With an innovative and interdisciplinary educational perspective developed in compliance with the latest improvements around the world, ?stanbul ?ehir University continues its academic studies with undergraduate, graduate and associate degree programs under the roof of 7 colleges, 3 graduate schools, and 1 vocational school.
Our university’s academic staff consists of 420 distinguished academicians in total, comprised of 114 adjunct professors and 306 full time professors all of whom determinedly strive to foster the academic world both at national and international level.
As of 2018-2019 academic year, Istanbul ?ehir University has over 800 international undergraduate students from 79 different countries. ?EH?R has over 800 international undergraduate students from 79 different countries, with an international student ratio of 18%. ?EH?R aims to increase the number of international students even further.?
On the Dragos Campus, in size of 40 football fields, ?EH?R offers its students a multicultural and vibrant campus life thanks to 1260-person dormitory, indoor and outdoor sports fields, the library with the largest e-archive among university libraries in Turkey, student clubs and communities exceeding the number of 50, a wide variety of cafeteria and social fields.
In addition, it provides both students and academics with the opportunity to continue their studies in a comfortable and free environment thanks to research centers that offer a unique variety of research and education in the fields of humanities, social, engineering and natural sciences.
